Yes, it was so strange. I've never had a pointy-eared dog get an ear infection and there was nothing else prior to that would have brought on an infection. She's an inside dog, no allergies, not around other animals that have been sick or infected. Who would think they go to the groomer and end up with an infection. Now when she goes to the groomer, I make sure to tell them not to get water around her ears and no trimming of her ear fur / hair either. That was a tough infection to get rid of and the poor pup was miserable while she had it.
