Do you find it easy or difficult to train a rescue dog?

I think it depends on their background. The advantage is they would likely be older and may have some prior training to build on. Generally they would be calmer and more attentive. The disadvantage would be that you would have to break any bad habits / training they picked up. If they were abused, it would bring a whole other set of complications. Overall, I think it would be easier.

I think background has a huge impact. My rescue was abused as a young pup. There are areas I have found hard to train her such as car rides and walks. She gets so scared goi g to new places.
