Hi guys, as we are hoping to get a pup in the next few months, I'm thinking about pet insurance? Yes or no? Alternatively I was thinking about opening a separate savings account, that way if nothing happens we don't lose that money

What a great topic of conversation! I recently looked into getting pet insurance. Just to get an idea of what it's all about and what the cost would be, I got a quote for just one of my pets. The rates were outrageous! In a year, I would pay more for insurance than what I have ever paid for any medical issue for any pet ever! The monthly rate was more expensive than my own health and car insurance combined.
If anyone knows of a company that is reasonably priced, I would love to get the recommendation.
