Is there a place in the house where your dog is not allowed? We are moving into our new home in a couple of months and my partner hates having dogs in the kitchen. How did you train them to know where they aren't allowed

The only place our dogs cannot go in are the bedrooms of my other family members and the bathroom. They are allowed in the bathroom if we take them a bath, this is because they made a mess in the bathroom before and that's we always close the door. This is also the same for the bedrooms of my other family members but our dogs are welcome in mine

The bedrooms are off-limits. The rest of the house is open to her. With that being said, if I have food out and have to walk away, she has to either go to another area or she goes in her spot (crate). She will steal food being cooked right out of a pan!
