Chasing cats
I've got a problem at the moment where my yorkie chases one of my cats.
I've had them both since they were babies so they've grown up together. I think the issue is my cat is a little nervous so he skulks around very slowly and this sets off my yorkie as he is wondering what the heck the cat is doing, so he runs and barks, which makes the cat worse....
Has anyone got any ideas how I can help them to get along please?

I too have cats and a dog. The dog was a pup when I got her and I already had cats. When she was young she would chase them or bother them and I had to frequently tell her no in a very stern voice. That is also the time when she learned the command "Leave It". She still from time to time will want to pounce on the cats, one of them more than the others, but as soon as I say No or Leave It, she stops. It seems that she does it more when she hasn't had any exercise and she's bored and frisky. Maybe extra appropriate activity or a toy to occupy her and consistently giving a command to not do it will help?
