Mine have never had allergies luckily, but I do know that any behavioral changes or scratching can be an indication of allergies. Dogs are most commonly allergic to eggs, wheat, and different types of meats.

I had a Rottweiler that was allergic to so many things. Her reaction was itchy ears and she would get ear infections. We had to feed her special limited ingredient food and pay attention to the treats that we gave her.
