I don't feel that all breeds do well off a leash, mine included. Some breeds on the other hand do great off a leash but I would still be very cautious of when and where even the best trained dog would be allowed off the leash. I wouldn't allow it in an area where something could hurt them or entice them into a dangerous situation. I would never forgive myself if I had my dog off the leash and something bad happened. There aren't any areas around me that I feel are safe for any dog, trained or otherwise to be off of their leash. At the end of the day, dogs are animals and animals can be unpredictable when faced with unfamiliar situations.
