I know this might be controversial for some pet owners, but how old must your pet be before it is safe to put a wireless fence barrier collar on?

I'm quite aware you couldn't use this on a puppy. I wouldn't just let a puppy outside unattended

I would think that it would be about the same age as it is for other devices with similar consequences. At least 4 months should be safe but the product should advise on the proper age. I am skeptical about using them in general for two reasons: 1. my Husky is so determined to do what she wants sometimes, I think she may just barrel past it regardless of the consequences. 2. It "might" keep my dog in, but it isn't going to keep other animals or dangers out. Even if I did try to use it, I would never feel comfortable leaving her unattended.
