Not sure if this helps, but I love names that mean something profound in a different language. I think it's also quite fun naming your dog after movie characters

I think the names that represent something opposite of what the dog is are pretty funny, like naming a chihuahua "Tank" or "Diesel" or naming a mastiff something like "Chip" or "Pip". Maybe a name from the region the breed originated would make it unique. I was trying to find a proper Russian name for my Siberian Husky but nothing seem to fit. I then felt like her name should start with an S so I started looking up names starting with S. I happened across "Suki" which means beloved in Japanese and I found it to be perfect! I later found out if also means something in Russian but it isn't very nice.
