What type of collar/lead do you like best? We've always just used a lead and a collar, but I see more and more people using harnesses for walks. What do you use?

We love to use the harness. My Great Pyrenees just pulls her collar off so the harness is our go to.

I use the harness for my dogs when we go out on walks because a collar and lead can hurt the dog's necks when they thug on the lead. That's why we switched to harnesses so that their necks are safe.

I use a retractable lead on a collar mostly... however last week my dog lunched suddenly to chase a cat and broke the lead. thankfully we were in our garden so nothing happened, but I invested in a much stronger one after that. imagine if that happened by the road!
