How long do you work on training at a time for tasks other than potty training? I'm trying to teach my Velvet to stay off leash when I walk away until I call her and we work on this about an hour at a time.

My pup helps me decide on the training times. Sometimes she really enjoys whatever lesson it is we are working on so those sessions go longer. If she is distracted or just doesn't seem to be very interested, we'll keep those a little shorter. If she's not attentive, it won't be as effective.
