Summertime with pets
What kinds of things do you do with your pets in the summer? Do you take them on trips with you or have them boarded? What kinds of activities do you take your dog on? Me I usually take Velvet along to activities like barbeques or swimming at the lake

Velvet is such a lucky dog! I can picture Velvet smiling and enjoying the people and playing! Where I live has very hot summers and my Husky really doesn't want to be outside much. The lake isn't an option either as we have alligators in all lakes. We will go on walks in the mornings or late evenings when the pavement isn't blistering hot. We go on outings a lot more in the cooler months!

Aw love that! I wish we could bring ours but it's a bit much with 2 dogs and 2 kids so we just tend to work our days around them to make sure we don't leave them too long. Or if we go away for a couple of nights my parents in law watch them - they absolutely love it there! get treated like royalty

Yes I can see where cooler months would be better for your dog. I never even thought of dogs that it would be too hard on in the summer because of their coats
