Spaying
At what age do your recommend getting your dog spayed? I originally planned to do it when she was younger but I did have someone at the vets office recommend I let her have a set of puppies before we do that. I held off on getting her spayed because of this and now I am hearing mixed thoughts. How old was your dog when they got spayed?

Well personally, I think I would recommended to spay a dog before their first heat cycle, which is typically around 6 months of age. It is not necessary to let a dog have a litter before spaying and this can actually increase the risk of certain health problems. It's important to consult with a veterinarian to determine the best timing for spaying your dog based on their individual health and needs.
