For those of you that have dogs with a thick coat, how do you manage shedding?

Hi! Well one of my dogs sheds and the first time I saw it, I didn't know what to do because my two other dogs never shed before. I asked help from my friend who had a dog that sheds and she give me some tips that really helped me. First, you have to determine when your dog sheds to get prepared. Personally, mine starts shedding during the summertime. Also regularly brush your dog because it helps remove loose hair before it falls out. Also, regular bathing with a good quality dog shampoo can help loosen and remove dead hair. Last is to give your dog proper nutrition and to give them a balanced diet so that your dog's coat can stay healthy and to reduce shedding.
