When you bring your rescue home, do you get them their own special toy? I always did this when I was fostering so the dog feels special. I make sure it's not like any other toy that's already in the house

I definitely get a new special toy. It's hard to keep it separate from the others but I do make sure that they get a little time with it first.

Yes great idea! I think it's important that your rescue has a little spot in the house that they know belongs to them. A little bed and a toy sound lovely!
