Kennel cough

What are symptoms of kennel cough and how likely could a dog get it if they haven't been boarded anywhere?

Based on my knowledge and correct me if I am wrong, symptoms of kennel cough in dogs include a persistent dry cough, sneezing, nasal discharge, and mild lethargy. While dogs are more likely to contract kennel cough when they come into contact with other infected dogs, it is still possible for them to catch it even if they haven't been boarded anywhere, as the infection can spread through the air or by direct contact with infected surfaces.

Pretty much the same symptoms as our common flu. There is a vaccine available to help prevent this, especially if they are going to training or places that have a high volume of other dogs
