JACK RUSSELL is afraid of metal trash cans
I can not come with in 20 feet of a trash can:angry: before my Jack Rus will freeze all 4 paws and not come any closer to a trash can.
If I walk a slight angle he will sometimes get closer :) but still not with in 15 feet.
I just feel sorry :( for my dog any thing I can do to help him with this fear of metal trash cans ????:blink:

I normally don't walk my dog on trash days but I walked her today and remembered that she is terrified of the big plastic wheeled garbage cans! I totally forgot about that until today when she put the brakes on when we got close to one of the cans! I wonder what causes that fear? The trash cans are smaller than so many other things we encounter on the walk but she isn't afraid of anything else.

I think the vacuum is a fairly common fear or dislike for all animals. My Rottweiler was terrified of the vacuum but my Husky either dislikes it being near her or wants to play with it! I'm not sure because she jumps at it, runs in a circle, runs away, then comes back and jumps at it again! She's so silly!
