How to train your dog not the leave the house
Hi guys! So this morning, my French Bulldog ran out of our gate when I was going to open it to leave with the car. As soon as I opened the gate he ran straight out of the gate and I had to chase him throughout the neighborhood HUHU do you guys have any training tips so that my dog would stay put when I open the gate to leave?

I agree, learning the command stay really has helped us. We remind our dogs multiple times because you can see how tempted they are but they listen pretty well with that.

I'd suggest training your dog with 'stay'. Get them to sit, 'stay', and then take two steps away, praise them after a couple of seconds, and then keep doing it while getting further away or waiting for longer periods of time. You can keep practicing this in different environments and then implement it while the gate is opening.
