Help with getting our 7 year old male Doberman adjusting to our new 7 week old male doberman
We introduced our 7 week old male Doberman to our 7 year old male and 7 year old female Doberman and they aren’t liking to idea of a new puppy in the house. They crawl at him but mainly just walk away when he comes close. Is there any ideas to help the transition?

A good way to get all your dogs in the same mindset is taking them for a walk together. It helps them focus on external stimuli and it can often times be a bonding experience for everyone involved. Introductions and acceptance can sometimes take time because everyone involved have different personalities.

How long have you had your new pup? It can sometimes take time for them to adjust to a new arrival but I think activities together are a good place to start. SJ

It is a very good way of bonding and they become a pack. The pup will learn from the older ones too.
