Golden Retriever
A family member is thinking about getting a Golden Retriever. She has a 6-month old baby right now so she's definitely looking for a gentle dog. Has anyone on here had a Golden Retriever? What was your experience with the breed? Would you recommend?

Yes we had one when my girls were smaller. They are super smart dogs and love all the attention that kids tend to offer. They require walks though it at least a fenced area to run around in. They are such a loyal and gentle dog. That's a very good breed choice for a family
