Are dogs very sensitive to the emotions that humans are feeling?

In my opinion yes, dogs are known for their ability to sense and respond to human emotions. They can pick up on subtle cues such as body language, tone of voice, and facial expressions, allowing them to understand and empathize with our emotions. Their sensitivity to our feelings is one of the reasons why they make such wonderful and intuitive companions.

I would have to agree, I think they are incredibly sensitive to the energy that we give out. Whenever I'm feeling stressed and anxious I can tell my dog tries to comfort me. I think they are very intuitive animals

Absolutely! I strongly feel that dogs, cats, and horses can sense their human's emotions and respond accordingly. I think they can not only sense them but they actually care and somewhat understand them. I don't know about other mammals firsthand but I suspect there are other types of critters that do the same.
