Hi. I adopted a Westie 4 months ago. She's aout 4.5 years old. We have plenty of space out back for her to run around all day. She loves to chase squirrels and lizards. The other day I saw her eating a lizard. Is this ok for her?

I'm not aware of any specific lizard that would be poisonous, but I would suggest that you look up the lizards common to your area to be sure.
There are certainly some animals that are harmful if your dog messes with them such as some toads and snakes, so there may be some lizards that fall into this category.
If it's a harmless lizard than no harm will come to your dog. If it's not a harmless variety, other steps will have to be taken to avoid the dog eating them!
