Anyone used a dog boarding facility before? Is it worth it in your opinion? Or better to have a pet sitter?

I have, the dog boarding facility near me is very worth it in my opinion. They really take care of our dogs especially when we go abroad. It may get expensive if you leave for awhile like 2 weeks but most os the time we leave for only one week and it is very worth it.My dog boarding facility offers grooming and they even have a pool as well for our dogs to swim in.

Boarding has its advantages. They have extra services and features not usually found with sitters. My preference is the sitter because boarding organizations have employees and employees change regularly. It's unlikely that most boarders do background checks. With the sitter, it's the same person all of the time. You know the person, you've had a chance to try them with your pet, your pet knows them, etc. I just like the personal and familiar attention the private pet sitter provides.

We used to, there was a farm that we could take our dogs to and they would be walked etc. But nowadays our dogs have become like family and so we would prefer them to be in the safetly of our own home
