Constipation

My dog hasn't had a bowel movement in 2 days but she hasn't been eating as much the past two days either. At what point should I get worried she could have a blockage or something. Her belly isn't hard or anything right now

Well it's not uncommon for dogs to skip a day of bowel movement, especially if they haven't been eating as much. However, if your dog still hasn't had a bowel movement after 3-4 days, it's a good idea to contact your veterinarian. They can advise you on the next steps to take and whether there might be a blockage or other underlying issue causing the problem. In the meantime, you can encourage your dog to drink plenty of water to help move things along.

Thank you for this valuable information

If you suspect it could just be constipation and there are no other signs that it could be something else, try to get things moving. Some safe options include canned pumpkin, fiber supplements, and exercise. And definitely be sure they are getting enough water. When they are constipated, it is normal for them to not eat as much.
