Routine for your dog

Hey guys! We've decided that we want to get a new puppy and I really want to approach the situation in the best way possible! So I'd love to know how you all incorporate routine with regard to your dogs to make sure they are growing up confident, happy and disciplined :)

These are great points. I'll definitely do a schedule for all the necessities! Loved that audio source too. Thank you

I'm considering getting a puppy, and have a 4yr old Weimaraner and want to know the best way to pick a dog that will be compatible with my fav girl. Any advise would be appreciated advice would be appreciated

With the Weimaraner being a hunting dog, a small dog is probably not the best choice. It could work but with the Weimaraner already 4 years old, I would be nervous about it. I would also avoid terriers as they are generally independent and unless socialized at an early age, they are not always friendly toward other dogs. Most working (dobermann, alaskan malamute) and sporting (retrievers, spaniels) group dogs should be fairly compatible. Definitely look more into the breed(s) that you are considering prior to making the decision.
